Our founder lit her first hand-poured candle on a rain-soaked evening not to set a mood, but simply because the power had gone out. What happened next surprised her: the room, the silence, the warm amber glow… everything became gentler. She didn't want it to end.
That feeling of being fully present, unhurried, at home in your own skin became the obsession behind Aurappy. We spent two years perfecting our first wax blend, testing over 150 fragrance combinations, and building every candle by hand in small batches. Not to scale fast. But to get it exactly right.

We pour every single candle in small batches at our Mumbai studio. No shortcuts. No outsourcing. Our makers spend up to 48 hours curing each pour to ensure an even, clean burn that lasts until the very last centimetre of wax. You can feel the difference in the first light.
